"My daughter, at the age of six, had a series of epileptic fits, about four in total each three or four months apart. With two of them she ended up in hospital over night for observation.
I am a psychiatric nurse and was adamant that I didn’t want her to have the traditional medication that can be prescribed for epilepsy. Fortunately her fits were not too frequent and I felt that I could manage them. There was also an issue of her behaviour that was sometimes very obstinate to say the least and often she would appear like a bear with a sore head!
After her initial consultation and starting homeopathic treatment the first thing that I noticed was a change in her behaviour: She became much calmer in her self. She had also been having difficulty at school with reading because of short-term memory loss, therefore being unable to retain what she had learnt. Now aged ten years my daughter has had no epileptic fits and her reading and school ability is within the normal range where as before she was functioning below the normal range.

"I am a woman of 61, who in December 2008 went to see Alastair upon the advice of a friend, who thought that my health problems might respond to homoeopathic treatment, I was however, sceptical.
My health problems were as follows:
A small area of skin cancer over my right eyebrow. This had been removed surgically earlier with follow up appointments to follow.
Another small area on my hand, which the Doctor was monitoring but did look like skin cancer.
A severe and long standing infection of the sinus, ears and eyes, which I had been treated with penicillin by the doctor, but had not cleared up and was slowly getting worse.
A general feeling of gloom and depression was hanging over me.
Alastair gave me a full consultation, which threw up many issues, which I had not properly dealt with over the years. He then prescribed two different types of tablets to take and I was to see him again in one months time.
Over the next few weeks my sinus problems disappeared completely.
The worrying patch on my hand had also disappeared.
On my next appointment with Alastair he remarked upon my whole change of appearance, saying that I looked lighter and happier. And indeed I was!
